FAQs
Questions people ask.
Answers to what recruiters, founders, and marketing teams most often ask before reaching out. Can't find what you need? Just ask directly.
Availability & Engagement
Are you open to full-time roles, or only contract work?
Both. I'm actively open to full-time remote product marketing and technical SEO roles, alongside contract and consulting engagements. Happy to talk through what fits your team.
Are you available for remote-only roles?
Yes. I work fully remotely and have collaborated with teams across US, EU, and global time zones for years.
What kind of companies do you work with?
Mostly B2B SaaS: founders, marketing teams, and product teams that need content, SEO, or product marketing done by someone who understands both the product and the reader.
Do you work with early-stage startups, or only established companies?
Both. Early-stage teams often need the full stack (content, SEO, positioning) built from scratch; established teams tend to need a specific system fixed or scaled. I do either.
Pricing & Engagement
What's the real difference between hiring you and bringing someone in-house?
You get senior-level content, product marketing, and technical SEO experience without the overhead of a full-time hire: no onboarding runway, no benefits, no single point of failure if priorities shift. I plug into your existing team and tools rather than requiring one built around me.
How do your retainer packages work?
Retainers are scoped around a fixed set of monthly deliverables, content, SEO work, or a mix, agreed upfront so there are no surprises. Scope and pricing are tailored to what a team actually needs rather than a fixed, one-size-fits-all package. Details are worked out on a call.
Can I start with a one-off project instead of jumping straight into a retainer?
Yes. Many engagements start with a single deliverable, a technical SEO audit, one piece of long-form content, or a landing page, before scaling into a retainer if it makes sense. See the Services page for what can be scoped as a standalone project.
What kind of results can I expect?
Results depend on the scope of the engagement, but the throughline across past work is measurable: 10M+ organic views and 500+ top-10 rankings driven directly by content and SEO work. Specific outcomes by project are in the Portfolio.
What will happen if I cancel a project halfway?
Engagement terms, including cancellation, are agreed in writing before work starts. For project-based work, you keep everything delivered up to that point. For retainers, a standard notice period applies so both sides can wind down cleanly.
How I Work
How involved are you day to day on a retainer or contract?
As involved as the engagement needs. Some clients want a hands-on operator embedded in weekly planning; others want a defined deliverable on a schedule with light check-ins. Set upfront, not assumed.
Do you write the content yourself, or manage a team of writers?
Both, depending on scope. I write hands-on for most engagements, and bring in vetted writers for larger content volumes while staying responsible for strategy and quality.
What does your typical turnaround look like?
Depends on scope. A single article or landing page usually takes a few days; a full content or SEO audit closer to one to two weeks. Timelines are always agreed before work starts.
What is your approach to AI in the work you deliver?
AI tools speed up research, drafting, and iteration, but strategy, editing, and final judgment stay human. Nothing ships without a real review pass.
Tools & Technical
How do you use AI (Generative Engine Optimization) in content creation?
GEO means structuring content so AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews can actually parse, trust, and cite it: clear structure, direct answers, and credible sourcing. It builds on solid technical SEO rather than replacing it. More detail is on the Services page under AI SEO (AEO & GEO).
What tools do you actually work in day to day?
Next.js and WordPress for builds, Claude and ChatGPT as genuine workflow multipliers, plus standard SEO and analytics tooling. Full list on the Resources page.
Do you build websites yourself, or only write about them?
Both. This site is a Next.js and WordPress build I designed and maintain myself, and it is one of several products I have built end to end. Examples are on the Portfolio page.
Can you work directly in our CMS or codebase, or only deliver documents?
I can work directly in WordPress, Next.js, or whatever your stack is, not just hand off Google Docs. Scope and access are agreed at the start of an engagement.
